The everypic experiment aims to express in a visual way one of those little absurd details we may find in our lives.
Digital pictures are probably the most convenient way to store images of our memories.
Digitalizing involves quantifying real world values. Due to the limitation of the technology of our era, some information is lost.
To what extent is that lost information important?
How many pixels do we need to recognize a picture?
How many colors?
What if we reduce those amounts to an absurd low level?
What if we modify the image to always use the same amount of each color?
What if we sort those pixels by its color?
What if we cannot recognize the picture but we still know what picture it is?
We don't store your data, period.
No picture data is ever sent to the server.
Everything is done by your computer in your web browser, picture processing, pdf generation, etc.
